This year's race will be on SUNDAY 11th JUNE 2017.
Back by popular demand this is the only race of its kind in the country. Take the opportunity to run, walk or stagger a mile from Greenfield to The White Hart, pay for the privilege and raise money for charity, all at the same time!
Choose your weight - 20, 10, 5 or 2kg for individuals, depending on age. For children and toddlers there are Spud and Spoon races, Tatties In A Bucket and Design A Potato Head competitions.
Prizes and trophies, plus medals for all! Timings are approx midday to 13:30, in time for lunch & prizes.
All profits to go to charities and local projects. We have a tradition of supporting a national charity as well as a local one closer to home. In 2016 we raised over £4000 (including match funding from Barclays Bank) which was split between the East Anglian Air Ambulance, ABF The Soldiers' Charity and Keech Hospice Care. We also donated monies for facilities at the Recreation Ground and the Church Hall.
