We are pleased to announce that we now have a defibrillator for use on the Wrest Park Estate. It is mounted on the outside west wall of Capability House, in the visitor car park - please familiarise yourself with it's position so you know where it is in case of emergency.
Approximately 100 people every week suffer a sudden cardiac arrest at work and their chances of survival decrease by 10% every minute so it is imperative that care is delivered as soon as possible. If defibrillation along with CPR is deliver within 3-5 minutes of a victim collapsing, chances of survival can increase from 6% to 74%.
